Progress of Da Vinci robot in surgical operation of gastric cancer

Abstract: The Da Vinci single-site surgical platform (DVSSP) is the newly developing minimally invasive surgery system after laparoscope.It has 3D vision,flexible operation,tremor filtration and other advantages.Due to the successful application in the operation of gastric fundus folding,Heller myotomy and the weight loss surgery,Da Vinci robot surgical system is gradually being applied in the treatment of gastric cancer.Compared with laparoscopy,the robot system has advantages on the difficult problems like lymphadenectomy and digestive tract reconstruction,but its longer operation time and the higher cost of operation remains to be solved.At last,more research needs to be done on the long-term curative effect.
