Study of overexpression of Fbxw7 promotes mTOR degradation and inhibits migration of gastric cancer cells

Abstract: Objective:To study the regulation and mechanism of Fbxw7 on gastric cancer cell migration and invasion.Methods:SGC7901 cells were transfected with pcDNA3.1Fbxw7,then Fbxw7 mRNA level was detected by RTPCR,cell migration and invasionweremeasured by transwell assay,the expression level of mTOR wasdetected by western blot.Results:Compared with control cells,the cells transfected with pcDNA3.1Fbxw7 showed increased Fbxw7 mRNA level,decreased migration and invasion ability,downregulated level of mTOR.Conclusion:Overexpression of Fbxw7 inhibits migration and invasion ability,also promotes mTOR degradationin gastric cancer SGC7901 cells,indicating that Fbxw7 may regulate gastric cancer metastasis through mTOR signaling pathway.
