Application of liver suspension technique in laparoscopic radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer

Abstract: Objective:To explore the application of liver suspension technique inlaparoscopic radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer.Methods:From January 2018 to December 2018,60 patients with gastric cancer who underwent laparoscopic radical gastrectomy were divided into two groups randomly:the LST group(30 cases)and the IC group(30 cases).The operation time,intraoperative bleeding volume,liver injury,abnormal liver function,number of lymph node dissection and anastomotic complications were compared between the two groups.Results:The operation time of the two groups were(240.0±9.0)min and(256.2±7.9)min,respectively.The intraoperative bleeding volume was(72.2±14.9)ml and(98.0±12.6)ml,respectively.The number of cases of liver injury(including hepatic rupture bleeding and subcapsular hematoma)was 3.3%(1/30)and 20.0%(6/30),and the number of abnormal liver function indexes were 6.7%(2/30)and 26.7%(8/30),respectively.There was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).The number of lymph node dissection was(22.1±3.0)and(20.8 ±3.1),respectively.The number of anastomotic leakage was 6.7%(2/30)and 3.3%(1/30),the number of anastomotic stenosis was 3.3%(1/30)and 10.0%(3/30),and the number of anastomotic bleeding was 3.3%(1/30)and 6.7%(2/30),respectively.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The application of liver suspension technique in laparoscopic radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer can better reveal the operative field of vision,effectively shorten the operation time,reduce intraoperative bleeding,and reduce the risk of liver dysfunction and liver side injury caused by repeated exposure to the liver.
