The management of intrahepatic bile lake for patients with biliaryatresia

Abstract: Intrahepatic bile lake is a common complication following Kasai portoenterostomy for biliary atresia.Its impact on the prognosis of biliary atresia has attracted increasing attention.Consensus has not yet been reached on its pathogenesis,diagnosis and classification methods,therapeutic strategies and other related issues.This article will summarize the abovementioned issues reported in existing literature combined with the experience of the author's team.
