Abstract: Necrotizing fasciitis (NF) is a highly aggressive and severe soft tissue infection, pathologically characterized by the rapid and progressive necrosis of the subcutaneous deep fascial layer.Although relatively uncommon in clinical practice,it is a significant concern due to its substantial fatality rate. Its pathogenesis involves the rapid spread of bacteria along fascial planes with relatively poor blood supply, leading to secondary infection of the fascial tissue and adjacent structures, including the skin, subcutaneous tissue, and muscle.
