Abstract: Bronchogenic cysts are congenital benign lesions that predominantly occur in the mediastinum,with retroperitoneal cases being exceedingly rare.Preoperative diagnosis is challenging,and histopathological examination remains the definitive diagnostic method.This article presents a case of retroperitoneal bronchogenic cyst and analyzes its epidemiological characteristics,clinical manifestations,diagnostic evaluations,and management strategies,aiming to enhance clinicians' understanding of this condition.
