Function and research progress of ubiquitin-specific protease 7 in colorectal cancer

Abstract: Ubiquitin-specific protease 7(USP7) is a deubiquitinating enzyme involved in a wide range of cellular processes,playing a key role in the regulation of cell proliferation and apoptosis,cell division,differentiation,DNA damage repair,epigenetic regulation and other biological processes.This article briefly summarizes the structure and extensive biological functions of USP7,and also describes the research progress of USP7 in colorectal cancer in recent years and potential directions for future research.
