Abstract: Objective To compare the application of granule embedding, singlepoint homogenization, and multipoint homogenization for parathyroid autologous transplantation in central lymph node dissection for thyroid cancer. Methods A retrospective analysis of 99 cases of thyroid papillary carcinoma from January 2016 to October 2018 underwent total thyroidectomy and central lymph node dissection. All patients underwent autologous transplantation of a Inferior parathyroid gland,35 cases with granule embedding method,31 cases with single point injection method and 33 cases with multipoint injection method. The blood calcium and PTH values preoperative, one day after surgery, one week after surgery, one month after operation and three months after operation were compared. Results There were no significant differences in serum calcium and PTH levels between the three groups preoperative, one day after surgery, one week after surgery and 3 months after surgery(P>0.05).The levels of serum calcium and PTH were higher in the multipoint injection than in the other two groups 1 month after surgery(P<0.05). Conclusion Multipoint injection method is safe and reliable for autologous transplantation of parathyroid gland. The recovery of parathyroid function is faster and worthy of clinical promotion.
