The therapeutic effect of transforaminal endoscopic BEIS technique combined with compound betamethasone on lumbar disc herniation

(收稿日期: 2025-12-28) (本文编辑: 孙清源 杨泽平) therapeutic effect, pain, lumbar spine function, stress response, serum inflammatory factors, and complications.Results The total effective rate of the compound group was 94.83%, which was higher than the 81.03% of the intervertebral group (P<0.05).At 1 week and 3 months after surgery, both groups showed a decrease in pain scores, and the compound group had a lower pain score than the intervertebral group.Both groups showed an increase in lumbar spine function scores, and the compound group had a higher JOA score than the intervertebral group (P<0.05).On the day and 3 days after surgery, the compound group had lower adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), cortisol (Cor), and norepinephrine (NE) than the intervertebral group (P<0.05).One week after surgery, the compound group had lower serum PGE2, TIMP-2, and TNF-α than the intervertebral group (P<0.05).The compound group and the intervertebral group had no great difference in complications (P>0.05).Conclusion The transforaminal endoscopic BEIS technique combined with compound betamethasone and compound betamethasone has good short-term curative effect in treating LDH patients.It can greatly reduce pain, improve lumbar spine function, inhibit stress response, downregulate inflammatory factors such as PGE2 and TIMP-2, control disease progression in a short period of time, and has high safety.
