Impact of exclusive enteral nutrition on clinical outcomes and gut microbiota in crohn's disease

Abstract: Intestinal stricture and fistula formation are severe and common complications of Crohn's disease,frequently accompanied by refractory malnutrition.This complex pathological condition directly impacts the surgical outcomes and quality of life of patients.This article reviews the recent research advances of exclusive enteral nutrition in Crohn's disease,focusing on its efficacy in inducing clinical remission,its perioperative application,and the underlying mechanisms of gut microbiota remodeling.
