Research progress of circular RNA related to the occurrence and development of triple-negative breast cancer

摘要: 乳腺癌是女性肿瘤中发病率和致死率均为第一的肿瘤,其分子亚型中的三阴性乳腺癌(triple negative breast cancer,TNBC)因缺乏明确的分子靶点成为其治疗中的难点。寻找可靠的生物标志物来识别TNBC成为靶向治疗TNBC首先要解决的问题。TNBC相关非编码RNA标志物研究成为该领域的热点。环状RNA(circular RNA,circRNA)是一类重要的非编码RNA,参与细胞结构与功能、基因表达与调控及信号通路等生命过程,且在癌症的发生和发展中发挥重要作用。近年来,很多文献报道了与TNBC发生发展相关的circRNA,并阐述了其分子机制,其中部分还可作为TNBC生物标志物。本文将就相关研究进行综述。

Abstract: Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer and the leading cause of cancer death for female in the world.Triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) among its molecular subtypes has become a difficult point in breast cancer treatment due to the lack of clear molecular targets.The first aim for targeted therapy of TNBC is to find reliable biomarkers to identify TNBC.The research of TNBC-related non-coding RNA markers has become a hot spot in this field.Circular RNA (circular RNA,circRNA) is an important type of non-coding RNA,since many researches have indicated that circRNAs play a vital role in many life process like cellular structure and function,gene expression and regulation,signal pathway and particular in the occurrence and development of cancer.In recent years,many literatures have reported circRNA related to the occurrence and development of TNBC and explained its molecular mechanism,some of which can also be used as TNBC biomarkers.This article will review related researches.
